Bibliographic metadata
Each published edition has a record with title, subtitle, contributors, publisher, imprint, edition, language, date, pages, identifiers, abstract and a persistent public URL.
The bibliographic practices we apply to the books we publish.
Each published edition has a record with title, subtitle, contributors, publisher, imprint, edition, language, date, pages, identifiers, abstract and a persistent public URL.
An ISBN identifies a published edition and, when assigned per format, a specific manifestation. ISBNs already issued for our books are displayed on each publication page.
A DOI is a persistent digital identifier. XMONDO Publishing will assign a DOI only when it has been registered for that publication. We do not display unregistered DOI strings and we do not sell DOI registration as a standalone service.
When a contributor has an ORCID iD, we include it on the publication page and in the author record.
Print editions are listed when they exist. Kindle is listed when the work is sold on Amazon. EPUB and PDF are not declared as separate manifestations unless a distinct file format is confirmed.
Language editions are related records, not a single ISBN. A new edition, a reprint and a correction are treated as distinct events in the publication history.
We aim to produce publications that can be read with clarity in print and digital form. We do not claim a specific accessibility certification.
We review bibliographic data before publication and correct the public record when errors are found.
